HealthyCare provided personalized nutrition, wellness and exercise plans for specific medical conditions. The company worked closely with medical and industry processionals to deliver trusted, science-backed solutions in a welcoming online portal. HealthyCare hired me to create wireframe concepts, interactive prototypes and a consumer-facing website to promote the service.
I worked with the company founder and a development team to create initial wireframes, color palettes, brand guidelines and design files. We created user journey maps for specific medical conditions to determine how different use cases might affect navigation and content. I worked with medical professionals to determine the best approach and format for sharing tips and techniques. We considered audio, video, articles, documents and chat interfaces, and I built user interfaces for each to test feasibility.
HealthyCare launched successfully with a limited user base focused within Boulder, Colorado. It received good reviews from patients who noted the intuitive interface and breadth of content. The website was a key driver of new inquiries to the portal.
