The Group Voyagers brand consists of several companies, most notably Globus and Cosmos. Globus offers high-end escorted tours across all seven continents. Cosmos, the budget arm of Group Voyagers, offers touring opportunities across many of the same locations, in a more budget-friendly no-frills atmosphere. Cosmos tends to attract younger, more adventurous travelers. Globus caters to travelers looking for "white-glove" service, with everything taken care of.
My work with Group Voyagers provided many opportunities for print and branding design through brochures, environmental signage, packaging, logo design and seasonal marketing materials.
I worked as a designer in the in-house creative team, envisioning and producing many high-profile materials. From large-scale brochures that required intensive international press checks, to online advertisements...holiday cards to shipping boxes...my time at Group Voyagers provided opportunities to expand my design knowledge and experience.
My team worked directly with stakeholders within the company locally and internationally. Many projects required acquiring custom photography and working with press vendors. I led the effort to move from outdated Quark XPress files into Adobe InDesign, and helped define the templates, styling and brand guidelines uses by the global creative team.
The brochures and materials we created won acclaim from industry publications, and most importantly, from customers and clients. Our marketing efforts helped strengthen the Globus and Cosmos brands across existing and new markets. We successfully launched Monograms, a new travel outfitter, with industry-leading service and memorable experiences.
